Services on the Kyle and Wick lines are still affected by damage caused by Storm Babet, says ScotRail. Work is ongoing to make the Wick and Kyle train lines safe after Storm Babet, with train commuters set for another day of cancellations and disruption today. Trains between Inverness and Wick are set to be cancelled or revised today, with bus connections from Invergordon or Tain in place. This comes after the deluge over the weekend brought by Storm Babet caused floodings in the area. Over the weekend Storm Babet caused extensive flooding and damages to roads in the Highlands – with key trunk roads such as the A9 and A835 closed for hours on Saturday after flooding left them dangerous and impassable in places.
