In a release issued just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, Halifax Regional Police said they were at the scene of a “possible weapons call” in the 2500 block of Brunswick St.HALIFAX—Police in the city are investigating reports of shots being fired. Calls came into police at 5:55 p.m., the release said, about “several reports of shots fired in the area of Brunswick St. and North St.”Police say several people were seen fleeing the area as well. There there have been no reported injuries. “The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available,” the statement goes on to say.
