KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has met with Yang Di Pertuan Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at Istana Negeri here. His office has not made any media statement over the topic of discussion between Hajiji and Juhar. On Friday (Jan 6), Sabah Barisan Nasional led by Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin announced that they were withdrawing support for the GRS-led coalition state government. Some anticipate that Hajiji might be asked to prove he has support during the Sabah Assembly sitting on Tuesday (Jan 10). Counting the support from the seven Sabah Pakatan Harapan assemblymen and five Barisan-Umno dissidents, Hajiji currently has the backing of 38 Sabah assemblymen.
