While addressing the officers, the Haiti PM stated that he was looking forward to seeing them in Haiti to join their colleagues who arrived in June. Kanja disclosed that 600 officers are currently training at the college and will soon be ready for deployment to Haiti. The mission was extended by a year, meaning that the Kenyan officers will be in the Caribbean nation till early October 2025.
