Sylvia Wanyama, who runs the salon together with her husband, had stormed the premise and picked a quarrel with 25 year-old Maureen Karani. “In the ensuing melee, the deceased was stabbed on the neck and died while receiving treatment in hospital,” Busia County Police Commander Mr Halima Abdi said. The suspect is said to have tried to escape but was arrested and is being detained at the Busia police station. He is a known Casanova,” said Mr Moses Okinda, a boda boda operator.
