Meteorologist Gerry Murphy said temperatures will stay in double digits throughout the week, before turning colder on Friday and next weekend. Thunder and hail are possible on Wednesday, with possible heavy showers later and temperatures ranging between 11 and 14C. Met Éireann forecasts that the next weekend will continue unsettled with further spells of rain and showers, with temperatures remaining between 7 and 10C.
