The warplanes of Dignity Operation, led by Khalifa Haftar, have carried out over five airstrikes on Benghazi Shura Council in the neighborhoods of Al-Sabri, Sooq Al-Hoot, and Ekhraibish, sources from the media said on Monday. According to Fatah Agency, a media arm for Libya Free Martyrs Brigade in Benghazi, said foreign warplanes like Mirage and Camcopter hovered over the Benghazi Shura Council fighters' positions in northern Benghazi. According to sources from Benghazi Shura Council, foreign warplanes in support of Haftar's forces have been conducting heavy airstrikes on Al-Sabri for two weeks. On Sunday morning in Benghazi, locals said they heard explosions caused by airstrikes conducted by Dignity Operation on locations for Benghazi Shura Council, which confirmed that Al-Lathama bridge in eastern Al-Sabri has fallen after the explosion. Benghazi Shura Council added that the explosion could be due to the heavy air attacks on the location along with artillery shelling in the early morning on Sunday.
