Ms. Hadiya informed her parents that she had reached Salem to continue her mandatory internship, in accordance with the direction of the Supreme Court. She appeared further relaxed after speaking to her parents, Dr. Kannan said. It may be recalled that Ms. Hadiya had called her husband Shefin Jahan from the college on Wednesday.
