The upcoming Johnny Depp film Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales has reportedly been plundered by a group of hackers who are threatening to release the film if the studio producing the film, Disney, does not pay a ransom. According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, Disney CEO Bog Iger said that hackers have access to Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales and are planning to release the film in segments online if ransom isn't paid to them in bitcoin. The hackers have said that they will release five minutes from the film first followed by twenty-minute-long segments till the ransom is paid. Disney has reportedly refused to pay the ransom and is currently working with the FBI. Starring Johnny Depp, Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth film of the Pirates of the Caribbean 5 franchise and is scheduled to release in theatres on May 25.
