Photo: MintMumbai: Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), India’s largest listed consumer packaged goods firm by sales, will announce its results for the March 2018 quarter on Monday. Compared to the preceding quarter, earnings in the fourth quarter are expected to be subdued with volume growth in the 5-7% range. Brokerages tracking the Indian arm of Unilever Plc expect it to report widening operating margin growth. “We expect HUL to report a steady 170 basis point margin expansion to deliver approximately 14% operating margin growth,” said brokerage Jefferies Equity Research India in a 5 April preview report.
