HSE seeking ‘more detailed’ information on employees’ reasons for leaving

A spokesperson informed the Medical Independent (MI)that an updated “leavers’ report” will form a “strong foundation” for developing staff retention strategies. According to the meeting minutes, members were informed that “a revised HR106 form has been published” and went live at the end of 2023. The HR106 form is required when an employee is leaving the HSE or transferring to another payroll area. The HSE spokesperson told MI that the leavers’ report “is not new” and is used to produce reports on movement “within/from the HSE in regards to turnover of staff”. However, the HR106 form “is now updated to include more detailed and up-to-date reasons for leaving”.
