With PC penetration below 20 per cent and increasing AI adoption, HP sees substantial opportunities for innovation, Ipsita Dasgupta, Senior vice President and Managing Director, HP India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, told a recent media roundtable in Colombo. HP currently holds a 27 per cent market share in Sri Lanka, demonstrating strong demand across various sectors. From AI-led healthcare diagnostics to scalable digital education models, HP is evaluating proof-of-concept initiatives that can drive measurable impact and expand access to essential services. She noted that Sri Lanka is the fastest-growing market for HP, and it is a first-mover country.
