It wouldn’t be such a stretch to say that Marfa boasts more art galleries per capita than any other town in Texas (or the country for that matter). Enter Hotel Saint George, the latest gap-filling addition to Marfa’s hotel scene. Jenkins turns out a menu of French-influenced, American fare heavily centered on locally sourced ingredients. Dinner at LaVenture shouldn’t go without the mouthwatering Black Angus Ribeye and the ever-satisfying Hand Rolled Whole Wheat Garganelli Pasta. With a soon to open Mexican restaurant, which will serve as the town’s gap filler for top quality Mexican cuisine and a new pool and bar opening across the street this Spring, Hotel Saint George is certainly not your average small town Texan hotel.
