The top three universities in Hong Kong have remained to be in the top 20 in a league table in Asia, with the University of Hong Kong ranking fourth. The rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds were released today, the University of Hong Kong fell from third to fourth after Tsinghua University moved into second place. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology remained at eighth while the Chinese University of Hong Kong slipped three places from last year, ranking at 13th. Hong Kong Shue Yan University continued to be the only private university on the list, rose from the 401 to 450 range up to the 301 to 350 range. Hu Fai-chung, Hong Kong Shue Yan University’s Deputy President said the massive boost in the ranking is an acknowledgment of their education which promotes benevolence.
