More than HK$850 million subsidies had been granted under the “Anti-epidemic Support Scheme for Property Management Sector” of the Anti-epidemic Fund, as of August 26, the Property Management Services Authority announced. Up to now, nearly 40,000 properties and more than 135,000 frontline workers have benefited. Tony Tse, the PMSA chair said the PMSA has started the follow-up work including a random review to ensure that the subsidies granted are disbursed to frontline workers. Applicants with subsidies granted are reminded to complete the PMSA’s specified report as soon as possible and to keep records about recipients. The reports should be submitted to the PMSA for review and audit, and to be kept by applicants for at least 12 months.
