Hong Kong reported two untraceable local cases today, involving a man from Pakistan and a woman from the Philippines, pushing the city’s tally to 11,836. He then underwent another test in the community testing center in Wai Tsuen Sports Centre in Tsuen Wan on May 23, and tested positive. She underwent a virus test again at the community testing center in Ma On Shan Sports Centre on May 22 and tested positive. The test result showed that she carried the N501Y mutant strain and the E484K mutant gene, but not the L452R mutant gene. Relevant people who had been to places patronised by the two cases are required to undergo compulsory testing.
