Two Covid patients passed away in the city today, pushing Hong Kong’s death tally to 145, according to the Hospital Authority. One of the patients is a 79-year-old woman with chronic illness hospitalized at Caritas Medical Centre on December 18 due to fever and a fractured hip. Her condition continued to deteriorate after she was diagnosed with Covid-19, she eventually succumbed at 1.10am today. The patient eventually succumbed at 4.05am this morning. So far, 145 have died from the coronavirus which 141 of them passed away in public hospitals.
