The Hospital Authority has confirmed that a coronavirus patient died this morning, taking the death toll linked to Covid-19 in the city to 136, 132 of which died at public hospitals. The chronically ill 95-year-old died soon after being admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The patient was originally under care at the Hong Kong Buddhist Hospital but was transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus. The Hospital Authority also said as of today, they have 72 million surgical masks, 7 million respirators, 10.5 million face shields and 8.9 million protective gowns that can last for six months.
