Hong Kong and mainland stocks traded lower in the morning. China Construction Bank (0939) ticked up by 2.65 percent, while Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (1398) was up by 2.4 percent at HK$4.7. China Unicom Hong Kong (0762) slumped by 9.83 percent at HK$5.41, the worst performer among blue-chip stocks, after posting a 10 percent growth in profit in the first three quarters. Mainland stocks fell. The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.83 percent at 3,297.32, while Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index dropped by 0.94 percent to 13,341.23.
