The High Council of State (HCS) recommended to the Presidential Council (PC) to cut ties with the UAE and consider it an "enemy state", with the right to respond to its attacks by all means, as guaranteed by the Charter of the United Nations. The HCS called the PC to reassess relations with all countries supporting the "illegitimate" war criminal Haftar, and consider such conduct a breach of the political agreement. It also accused the UN mission of shifting from its assisting role to establish the state, to administrating the state. "The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) had exceeded its mandate by supervising economic forums without permission of any official authorities. It reaffirmed it welcomes any move compatible with the political agreement and will oppose any step that conflicts therewith.
