Appraisals will be done by the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment and Planning and Investment, who will submit them to the People’s Committee for approval. According to Thang, the city treats over 10,000 tonnes of waste daily. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment will help existing waste treatment companies switch from burying waste to producing energy from it.
