more-inNagpur: The Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court on Thursday rejected a bail application of two co-convicts in former Delhi University professor G.N. Saibaba’s case pertaining to his links with Maoists. Prashant Rahi and Mahesh Tirki, who were convicted by a lower court in Gadchiroli district along with Professor Saibaba last year for alleged links with Maoists, had moved a bail application “pending appeal” in the Nagpur bench. Giratkar rejected their bail plea. “The High Court, by rejecting the bail application the convicts, has upheld that they were members of the banned outfits,” Gadchiroli police said in a statement.
