Justice Bora , when contacted, told TOI: "I and my son never intended to avail these benefits for his trip. The concerned deputy registrar ought to have been more careful. On Friday itself, I had informed the concerned registrar (administration) to withdraw the charge from the official under whose signature the letter was sent. He said, "Justice Bora visited Rajasthan recently, during which we had prepared a letter. Dhongade refused to comment when asked about action taken against him that involves withdrawal of his additional charge as deputy registrar (protocol).
