The court asked BSTI to make a complete report, and submit it by June 23. Two other reports were also submitted on behalf of the director general of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), and inspector general of police, reports BSS. The High Court on May 20, ordered the authorities concerned to form teams to monitor fruit markets, and warehouses across the country so that no one can use chemicals on fruits. The High Court made the order after holding a hearing on a supplementary petition filed by a rights group, Human Rights and Peace for Bangladesh (HRPB).
