The show, which has been on the air for four months, will air its final episode Nov. 9. HBO is a minority investor in Bill Simmons Media Group, which operates website the Ringer and its network of podcasts covering sports, politics and pop culture. In the statement, HBO said that Mr. Simmons would continue to work with the network on new programming next year. He joined HBO in June of last year, and ESPN shuttered Grantland a few months later.
