The Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) will organise its first ever “Housing Finance Fair 2017” at Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka from October 19-21. A total of 82 organisations will participate at the event, said BHBFC Managing Director Debasish Chakrabarty at a press conference at BHBFC headquarters on Wednesday. The fair aims to bring all housing sector stakeholders under one roof, with the goal to increase local and international levels of investment. Many people do not know how to properly apply for home loans and what documents they need to submit. The press conference was attended by Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh President Nurun Nabi Chowdhury (Shaon), Vice-president Liakat Ali Bhuiyan and Directors Kamal Mahmud, Abu Bakar Siddique and Al Amin.
