President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over a security meeting in Ask Rock, with the security chiefs and northern state governors in attendance. The meeting holding inside the President’s office and believed to have been summonsed to address challenging security issues in the Northern region, also has the Inspector-General of Police, in attendance. Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima, Adamawa State Governor Jibrilla Bindow; and Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai, are among state governors in attendance at the meeting.
