The team are scheduled to leave Dhaka for Moscow Sunday night. Mohammad Shafiqul Alam and Shishir Ahmed, accompanied by head coach Mushfiqur Rahman Rigan, will represent Bangladesh in six events of artistic gymnastics. Their goal will be to enrich a lack of international experience and improve personal performance. “We started the training camp on November 2 and couldn’t focus on all six events due to infrastructural obstacles and lack of preparation time. Shafiqul and Shishir were part of Bangladesh youth gymnasts’ first ever foreign tour where a four-member Bangladesh U-17 squad participated in the Junior Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championship in Indonesia in April this year.
