A recent outbreak at a gym in Sai Ying Pun has ballooned to 99 cases, as Hong Kong health authorities logged 47 additional infections, 35 of which linked to the cluster. The 35 infections tied to Ursus Fitness, the site of a super-spreading cluster, involved 25 patrons and 10 of their close contacts. The cluster, with the first patient confirmed on March 6, has now infected seven staffers, 75 visitors and 17 close contacts. Today’s new cases, four imported and 43 local, included four untraceable and 39 others tied to previous infections. Hong Kong’s confirmed Covid-19 total now stands at 11,257, with 203 related deaths.
