Isiolo Governor Abdi Hassan Guyo has announced he will take part in the upcoming UDA grassroots elections. "I left Jubilee and now I’m in UDA and we don't want to be the people who just sit back and clap for others. Guyo's statement comes a day after UDA announced it will hold its grassroots elections on December 9, 2023President William Ruto insisted that it was the right time for his party to hold elections. In June this year, Governor Guyo announced to had joined the UDA party and was officiated by the party’s secretary general Cleophas Malala. More appointmentsGovernor Guyo appealed to the Kenya Kwanza government to consider people from Isiolo when making more appointments.
