MONIQUE FORD / STUFF Gussie Larkin and Ezra Simons were drawn together by a shared taste in music. Gussie Larkin, 26, is a Wellington-based musician in the band Mermaidens, and the guitarist in Earth Tongue, which she formed with her partner, Ezra Simons, 27, a musician and videographer. In May, the couple will move to Berlin so they can tour Earth Tongue around Europe. About five years ago, I saw Ezra playing guitar in Red Sky Blues, a band I really liked. ​EZRA: I first saw Gussie performing in Mermaidens and I was super impressed with the music.
