The Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) handed over allotment letters to 61 oustees of the Northern Peripheral Road (NPR) on Monday, paving way to resolve the eight-year-long dispute holding the project in litigation. Huda administrator Yashpal Yadav said, “I am trying to bring relief to all oustees who deserve alternative plots. The oustees to whom we have given allotment letters are registry holders and have built houses on plots. “We have to give alternative plots to 225 oustees of registry holders. Some oustees, however, said that the Huda did not inform them about the allotment in advance.
