NEW DELHI: Three terrorists were killed as the Army foiled an infiltration bid in Gurez sector in Jammu and Kashmir 's Bandipora district on Thursday.Troops monitoring the area noticed suspicious movement along the LoC and immediately challenged the intruders. Three terrorists were shot down in the ensuing gun battle.On Sunday, one terrorist was killed while attempting to inflitrate into the Indian side in Machil sector of north Kashmir's Kupwara district.This year, the Army has foiled a total of 22 infiltration bids along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir, and 38 armed intruders have been eliminated in such operations.Further details awaited...
