UMAR MUHAMMED, LAFIAUnknown gunmen stormed Odu community in the Udege development area in the Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State and killed a traditional ruler, Mr. Amos Ewa Obere. An investigation by The PUNCH, revealed that the unfortunate incident occurred on Friday around 10 pm. Our correspondent learnt that the monarch sustained a gunshot wound in his stomach. It was gathered that the monarch was immediately rushed to Mararaba Udege General Hospital, for medical attention, but he couldn’t survive it as he died in the process. An eyewitness said, “When they stormed the community, they went straight to the palace and dragged the traditional ruler out and told him that your days on earth are finished, then they fired bullets on him.
