GUNMEN have killed a Village Head and 7 others in two separate attacks that occurred in Chikun and Jema’a local government areas of Kaduna State. Findings revealed that the Chikun attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning when the gunmen stormed Sarari village in Chikun LG. An eyewitness said the bandits came on motorcycles and began to move from house to house shooting at the sight and in the process, the village head, Sule Sarari and five others were killed, while 8 others were seriously wounded. “We have to convey the injured people to a Primary Health Centre at Udawa in Birnin Gwari which is the nearest village that has a facility,” he declared. While in Jema’a LG area two people were killed on Thursday afternoon near a collapsed bridge.
