Tunde Ajaja with Agency reportNo fewer than 18 persons have been killed by suspected gunmen in some communities in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, the Emir of Tsafe, Alhaji Muhammad Bawa, said on Friday. The Emir disclosed this in Gusau on Friday while receiving the member representing Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Alhaji Kabir Mai-Palace, who came to offer his condolences over the attacks. According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the emir, who thanked the lawmaker for the visit and his concern, said the attackers invaded Bamamu, Danmale and Sako communities on Thursday evening and killed 18 persons. “If I go back to Abuja, I’m going to raise these issues in the House with the aim of finding solutions to the problems. The lawmaker urged the people of the state to remain calm and continue to seek Allah’s intervention to end the problem.
