Peter Dada, AkureGunmen suspected to be herdsmen, on Wednesday, reportedly abducted an official of the Universal Basic Education Board, Abuja, at Auga Akoko in the Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State. The 45-year-old victim, identified as Femi Adesote, was said to be coming from Abuja with some members of his family when the hoodlums stopped their vehicle on the Kabba-Ikare Expressway and abducted him. The Police Area Commander for Ikare Akoko, Mr Razak Rauf, gave an assurance that the victim would be rescued and the criminal elements would be flushed out of the Auga Forest.
