Share TweetBy Jeffrey DamicogJustice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said there’s no longer a need to act on the appeal of WellMed Dialysis Center asking for the release of its owner, Dr. Bryan Christopher Sy, from the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Also to be charged with Sy are the whistleblowers, namely, former WellMed employees Edwin Roberto and Liezel Aileen De Leon. The resolution was released after the three were brought by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for inquest before Devanadera last Tuesday. Following Sy’s arrest, his lawyers wrote to Guevarra and NBI Director Dante Gierran demanding his release.
