ASMR videos such as precise makeup application or fork scratching on a microphone have been some of the most trending ones on YouTube. It is probably the biggest YouTube trend you’ve heard of. While soap cutting/slicing is self-explanatory, people are creating videos of hard, dry and soft soap being sliced through. Here, the ASMR pleasure comes from watching a bar of soap being sliced and from the sound of the knife gliding through it. And there are some that turn soap into powder.
