13:12My colleague Rowena Mason was at the Number 10 lobby briefing. The PM’s deputy spokesman said there had been “confusion” over the proposals regarding companies counting up their foreign workers. He said companies may still be asked to provide the proportion of foreign workers they employ but would not be compelled to publish this. He said it was not acceptable for the government to dictate how people write their wills. The spokesman said he was not aware of any plans to review the UK’s relations with Saudi Arabia after the airstrike on a funeral procession at the weekend.
