Guan Eng leaves MACC HQ after more than seven hours


PUTRAJAYA: Former Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has undergone another round of questioning at the Malaysia Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters here. It had been reported earlier that he spent almost six hours with graft investigators on Wednesday (July 22) over the Penang undersea tunnel project. Lim served as Penang Chief Minister from 2008 to 2018. This includes Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow and state exco members Jagdeep Singh Deo, Chong Eng, and Phee Boon Poh. The MACC also visited the offices of state Public Works, Utilities and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman, Zairil Khir Johari, and Deputy Chief Minister ll, Dr P. Ramasamy.
