NAUNDERO: Sugarcane growers of Kambar-Shahdadkot, Larkana, Khairpur districts held a protest demonstration against Naundero Sugar Mill here on Monday for not paying their outstanding dues of Rs 14 million for last three years. The protesters were holding placards in their hands and chanting slogans against the sugar mill authorities. They hoped that their protest in the hometown of martyred Bhutto leaders would produce fruit results and their dues would be cleared but their voice had not so far been heard by the rulers sitting in the corridors of power because of the sacrifices rendered by Bhuttos. They said that their dues were not being cleared since 2017 by Naundero Sugar Mill authorities which could only be termed highhandedness. They said mill authorities had closed doors for them, adding they were not protesting for charity but demanding their rightful dues and there seemed nobody to listen to their complaints and grievances.
