OTTAWA - Canada will open play at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-18 Baseball World Cup against Korea on September 9th at LECOM Park in Bradenton, Florida as the international federation today announced the schedule for the event that will take place in Bradenton and Sarasota from September 9- 18. Canada will compete in Group A and play against Brazil (Sept. 10), Netherlands (Sept. 11), USA (Sept. 12) and South Africa (Sept. 13) in opening round action.
