A sugar tax has channeled millions of dollars to underprivileged kids and cut soft drink consumption in parts of the US. SUPPLIED A new health group Health Coalition Aotearoa has been formed to tackle big food, tobacco and alcohol. He asked Health Minister David Clark to launch the lobby group at the Beehive on Wednesday night. Clark said industry had a "pivotal role to play in the production and supply" of alcohol, tobacco and high fat, sugar, salt foods. A food industry task force had "identified priority areas" and would report back "by the end of this year".
