PUCHONG: A group gathered Sunday in front of the guardhouse at Taman Melody in Puchong to show support for "Furby", the dog that was brutally attacked on April 2. The "Justice for Furby" protest, organised via Facebook, called for action to be taken against Terry Yee, the Singaporean man caught on camera attacking the dog. Many of the protesters were not residents of Taman Melody but came to show their support for the cause. DVS said the dog was taken by Selangor DVS enforcement officers Thursday and placed under the supervision of the Petaling district veterinary officer. The two-minute 43-second footage shows the man on a bicycle, with an attached basket holding his own pet dog.
