Some central Dunedin business and building owners are forming a group to combat George St plans. Brent Weatherall Jeweller owner Brent Weatherall says the reduction of cars would be bad for businesses and is creating a group of like-minded retailers in opposition. Last month he and about 10 others had an initial meeting and were in the process of creating a larger, more formal group. ''To date I feel the council has not kept us in the loop with major changes.''
