Groundnut oil strengthened at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on consistent demand from stockists and retailers. Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial also firmed up due to persistent demand from shippers and soap industries. Linseed oil continued to remain stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying from paint and allied industries. In the edible segment, groundnut oil went-up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 855 from Friday's close of Rs 850 and refined palmolein moved up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 564 from Rs 560. Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 750 per 10 kg.
