A player from Brazilian side Gremio had to be rushed to hospital after he was struck in the head by a rock after hooligans attacked his team bus. The 25-year-old was pictured with a heavily banded head after being taken to hospital for treatment. Gremio officials are then seen later in the video holding a large rock which had smashed through one of the windows. The incident took place just days after a bus carrying Brazilian team Bahia was attacked, with players hit before Thursday night's match against Sampaio Correa in Salvador. However, as reported by Reuters, furious supporters attacked player who responded with kicks before other fans invaded the pitch to join the fighting.
