Greens co-leader James Shaw has comfortably seen off a leadership challenge at the party’s annual general meeting on Saturday. James Cockle thought he was the man for the job, saying the traditionally left-leaning party had moved too far to the centre. But the Dunedin software developer and environmental activist captured just four delegate votes to Shaw’s 116 at the meeting in Upper Hutt.
