Greenpeace used paint and lights to get their message against bottom trawling across at Port Nelson. Greenpeace activists have been charged with wilful damage after taking to the water in an early morning protest against bottom trawling at Port Nelson. The small group of protesters paddled out to the Talley’s vessel Amaltal Enterprise at dawn to paint the word "Stop” before a light projector shone messages next to it. Supplied After painting stop on the boat, Greenpeace projected messages on the vessel. Hazlett said the people who tagged the vessel were politely asked by Talley’s staff to stop and move on, which they did.
